I think cream and olive works longer in the season. White and olive is more for summer. IMO

I hadn't thought about footless tights. The safari dress is slit up pretty far, and I was considering having another button hole put in, but I'm worried that will reduce my range of motion a lot, and it will be at least $20 or so at a tailor (my tailor is expensive). I'd rather spend that money on a pair of leggings that will add some polish to the outfit, and will be something I can wear later in the fall as well. I feel the same way about white as you do, Maya. I thought cream would be a lot softer and warmer (and especially good for fall). I'll go to Nordie's BP department and see what I can find, and last resort, I'll wear white.

They are so similar I can't see why one would work and not the other. I know what you mean about preferring cream. I do as well. Optic white is a bit cold and stark for my taste. Cream is warmer and softer. I will still get optic white if cream isn't available, though. You might have better luck with footless tights. I prefer the coverage of leggings myself, but I imagine footless tights would have more color options.

Thanks for the suggestions! I guess I will check out BP and there is an American Apparel store here in Austin as well. I like the buttons--I wish they came in cream though (I love cream and olive). Do you think white would be okay as an alternative if I can't find cream?

I got a pair from the BP dept. at Nordies. They're longer than capri length but I just scrunch them up and it seems to do the trick.

Has anyone here seen any cream colored capri leggings on their shopping journeys (in stores or online)? I am looking for a pair to wear with my olive green safari shirt dress. I like the idea of cream leggings better than black, but have only had luck finding black.

Thank you!
