And I do think that grief makes many of us crave simplicity. I also think the neutral tones feel more appropriate in a way to grieving. I just chose what was easiest to hand. Favourite fallback outfits -- jeans and knits pretty much every day. I didn't wear all neutrals but neither did I feel much like shopping. My mother had been failing for about 5 years but you're never prepared and I was 26.
