Yes, they do soften up and break in with wear, but they shouldn't be *uncomfortable* at first. Agreed with Elly that Target could be pretty hit-or-miss for quality, but certainly worth checking out if you want to try a trend without a big investment.</p> <p>I have four pairs (um, in my defense, we do spend a lot of time in TX) -- two are Old Gringo and two are Lucchese.
