I did take some tank top photos several weeks back and then gave up on the photo inventory. I am rekindling my efforts. I found some of those photos didn't translate to well so I'll likely redo them eventually. For now, I'm more interested in getting everything cataloged. I will always be a shopper so if I cut myself off I'd lose my mind. I did manage to change an old pattern yesterday at the Rack and not buy the multiple $11 jackets that were OK and only bought one really great jacket for $45 (and I had a $5 off coupon). Besides, your wearing them at home counts even if we never see them. And still looking for a replacement rust short sleeve mock neck sweater. And I've thought about getting a navy or black blazer to wear with jeans etc. a la Parisian chic, but that takes time to find the right one. And I don't have any stylish casual shoes. Etc. etc. And like you I am on the hunt for a red cardigan (bought two from Nordstrom, the Only Mine and the Laura Hansen, but they didn't look great on me so I returned them). </p> <p>Guilty confession--I have been doing a lot of shopping this week to beat the Dec deadline. Granted, they are to fill more basic/boring casual wardrobe needs (T shirts from H&amp;M, white skinny cords from Anthro, rust colored cardigan from J Crew), but still...I thought I was done with my closet!</p> <p>I also just found out I won a copy of the Little Guide to Vintage Shopping (woohoo!), so maybe I will explore consignment/thrift stores. The few times I have tried I haven't been successful so hopefully this book will be useful to teach me how to shop used.
