I believe I've discovered I'm a soft autumn. A soft autumn looks best in softer version of autumn shades and is close to neutral, so cool and warm tones can work. I've been drawn to strong jewel tones or saturated spicy shades, but those overpower me. The best colors seem to be muted shades like soft teal, plum, rust, earthy browns and golds. I think the key is to stay away from extremes including black and pure white, unless I can modify them with accessories or layers. </p> <p>This has been really interesting and helpful. Yesterday I wore a rust/burgundy sweater, but I softened it with a patterned blouse in blush pink and orange.
