I wear it all the time, and function far outweighs looks. I will remove it for the most formal occasions and put on a "nice" watch, but I have ruined so many by forgetting that i had it on and wearing it into the shower that I can no longer worry about my watch. Though I try to pick a "cute" watch, it must be water resistant and have a backlight. That always leads me to "gear-looking" watches. My current watch has a purple band and wide oval face, and it's cute and seems to work with almost everything I own -- but that's purely happenstance. I have a watch that has a black leather band w/ gold face, and another one with midnight blue band and gold face. The style of the blue one is very similar to yours. Although I finally recently got a third one (huge face, magenta leather band), I was very happy wearing the first two watches day in and day out before that. I still wear them with everything. I mix metals with abandon though and happily wear the gold faced watches with my silver/white gold rings. I guess if mixing metals bugs you, you might want to get a watch that matches the majority of your jewelry. For every day a metal band would probably be more versatile, but otherwise I would give this one a try. If you ultimately aren't satisfied with the color it's not expensive to swap out the band. Does this mean I will have to try to bookend somewhere in most outfits for the watch to look intrinsic?
