They were too lightweight and a horrible fit on me - waist too low and legs too big. I do not think they would tuck well into boots - you would get the genie pants effect. But they would work well with fitted ankle booties if the hem fell just above the boot shaft. If you can't tell from the picture, they hit me about two inches above ankle height.&nbsp;</p> <p>I'm going to go ahead and say Suz and Lisa are right. But I will take any suggestions you have and try not&nbsp;to toss the whole idea just yet! I was hoping for something not tight, but then tapering enough in the calves to work tucked in. But...I may just stick with boot cuts and forget showing the boots at all. It would negate the whole idea of the banded bottom and just end up looking like you stuck a pair of straight legged pants into a bootie. &nbsp;I have a couple of pair of track style pants, and one has a zippered ankle that I unzip when I wear them with my booties or wedge sneakers. This way the pant sort of drapes casually over top the boot.
