Eh, I found something else that I think will work better - I decided Mo was right about the extra volume below the waist. Thanks everyone!

I think 25 inches would hit me below the hipbone... we're the same height. Maybe you can measure another shirt or just use a tape to eyeball your perfect length and see if this would work. It's a cute shirt! I couldn't wear those shoulders, but it has that vintage/Anthro look you've been rocking!

It can be tucked in.. the problem I see is that its so long that you'll have a lot of fabric and that can create a bit of volume..

The only part I would be concerned with is the widening volume below the waist and the tie back string. It could look bunchy and I would probably just cut the little string, myself. Maybe hold out for the perfect top instead of *making do* with almost?? This is a personal bad habit of mine, so know how hard it can be

The material looks really lightweight, so it would probably tuck okay. There is some volume to contend with, because of the pin tucks, so it might be pretty poofy when you tuck, but hard to know until you try it. Is it strictly for layering? I find sleeves like that to be sort of challenging to wear...but I have big shoulders and stocky upper arms, so maybe that's not an issue with you :).

Re. the length: Measure a top you already have, then compare the length to get an idea.

I have, and I've never had a problem that I can think of. I often tuck blouses into the top of my tights (or even the waistband of my underwear) to keep them from puckering or bunching.

I'm also trying to picture just how long 25 inches would be on me...if it's really long, that ups the potential for bunching a lot. I don't want it to be tunic-length untucked.

It would probably work tucked in, as long as your skirts are made of materials that work well with wovens tucked in - sometimes woven shirts will pucker, bunch, or just look odd under the skirt. Have you tried tucking other woven tops into your skirts?

I've been looking for a white blouse just like this, and saw this one from Anthropologie new on eBay. I already have a long white button-down tunic - what I'm looking for is something I would wear with skirts, so I'd want it to be tucked in OR short enough for skirt wear. This clearly isn't short enough on its own, but what about tucked in? I'd always be wearing a belt at the place where the top went into the skirt.

It's SO close to being exactly what I want....
