I figured that indoors you could just drop the hood to a cowl/scarf form. One of the reasons I love it is because it's so amorphous and diaphanous (if it's in a sheer fabric). I'll try to get my hands on one and give it a try. :)

EDIT: Here's the most likely one I would get.

http://www.etsy.com/view_listi.....d=15951345

I still need to email the creator about the size of his/her models so I can get an idea of scale, and I don't know what color to go with...any ideas?

Hard to say. You wouldn't keep a hood on indoors. I'd need a visual.

I'm rather infatuated with the hooded cowl scarf thing that I've been seeing on the runways these days:

http://girldir.com/fashion-acc.....ouchy-hood

The question is, would I be able to make it work for me? I'm a petite inverted triangle. Would the cowl be too much for my shoulders? Would the slouchiness be too overwhelming for my frame?

And while we're on it, has anyone seen these in a thin material, like a cashmere? I can only find them in a chunky knit. The point is probably moot if there's no way I could make this work, but I'm curious anyway.
