Thanks, unfrumped! I'll try cuffing the sleeves, or pushing them up a bit. My arms are a bit short, relative to my height, so I'm often turning sleeves back.

I like it! Really good find for coloring outside the box of classic silhouettes.
Can you cuff the sleeves without looking weird? ? Not actually necessary, but for different looks, showing some more skin lightens the look- or “adds structure “ as they say.

Thanks, rachy! Sophisticated, or at least modern, was what I'm hoping for. Sometimes I feel the need to change it up from my more classic looks.

bonnie- thanks! I mostly tried the red Oxfords, to see what it would look like with a lower heel, and ended up liking it, even though it wasn't obvious to me that the green, rust and red would play well with each other. Hopefully it's not too much like a Christmas tree!

slim cat- great idea to layer some thin/slim-fitting tops under it. I like the idea of turquoise. Thanks!

Katerina- thanks so much for weighing in! I'm between a S and M with COS, so I went with the S. It's so hard with these oversized pieces, to figure out what's too much volume.

Cardiff girl- thanks for the vote of confidence!

Yay! I am so glad you found the dress. This color is fabulous on you. You styled the dress beautifully, I love it especially with the necklace.
I like the oversized style on you, but if you wonder about the sleeves, you could perhaps try a smaller size as well. FWIW, I sized down on this dress, because this particular dress in my usual size felt too oversized on me. I recall that the larger size was a tad longer as well. But again, it looks great on you and it all depends on which shape you prefer.

Nice and comfy. I like heeled shoes with sweater dress that add hight and structure. Lovely necklace and scarf.
I guess the volume in dress will allow to layer thin long sleeved tops underneath - possibly in different colors besides sure black ( navy, burgundy, light grey..) or turquoise to go with your necklace. And bracelet length on sleeves look good to my eye.

When Katerina first posted this COS sweater dress, I was intrigued, but couldn't find it on the US website. Fast forward a couple weeks, and it popped up, so I stopped by my local store to try it on. I have nothing to add to her assessment- amazing, simple, versatile, and hard to photograph :). It's super fun to wear. Plus, I've been wanting to try some new silhouettes for work- not that I'm abandoning my sheaths, shifts, and pencil skirts- but, I've found that I prefer having a wider variety of silhouettes within a tighter color palette. I got the green-orange version, which is a super interesting mix of a deep hunter verging on teal green mixed with rust.

First two pictures are in the dressing room, and the rest are a couple attempts at styling. We have some super cold weather coming up, so I'm tempted to cut the tags, but thought I should get the YLF opinion first. My main question is the sleeve length, and whether it works, since this is bracelet length on me, rather than 3/4 like the model.
