It looked so nice in the picture… I know that COS is popular and many people have positive experience, but I have very mixed feelings about the brand. Not a sizing issue, but general quality. I have a knitted woolen dress which is truly great and held up beautifully a few years. I have also had a couple of cotton summer dresses which started looking worn already after a first wash. Your dresses are gorgeous! The ZARA eyelet dress is amazing. I need to stop up.  The bright green color would blend with your other brights.  I hope that you can find  a dress in that color.  It is interesting that you had Janet's poor fit experience with the same dress.   My preferred length is about 23 inches from the knee or for a dress 40 inches from the shoulder. That hits right on or just below the knee.  I am too short to wear long dresses and skirts. I feel the same way... Bonnie, thanks for always being supportive!  Janet and Irina, agreed! COS sizing and fit is probably THE most inconsistent of all. Yet when their stuff works - it's fab!  Jenni, you sport and enjoy ANY length of skirt and dress that makes you feel fabulous. THAT is always in style. Like DonnaF, I’m very short ( 5 foot 1.5 or 5 foot 2 on a tall day!) so I like the proportions of shorter dresses on me. A newish issue is presenting itself though, that I no longer like how my knees look in shorter dresses? I like them in tights, like black tights, but that is limited by both weather and the fact I don’t like how tights feel (tight, ha ha) around my waist. So do you think the shortening of lengths would still allow some to be *just* below the knee, rather than midaxi? I find that a flattering length on me. Or do you think they will all be minis? Sorry, forgot to take pics of the dress on my body.  Gorgeous colour. Okay fabric and workmanship. Poor fit. FAR too long. Too wide in the shoulders too. But fitted in the waist and hips. I laughed when I saw it in the mirror :)  I'm 5 ft 6 and not short waisted. COS items aren't usually too long for me. It's not their usual higher standard. I expect things to improve!!! Makes me REALLY appreciate the outstanding dresses I got at RL Polo, Hobbs, Zara and Aritzia this season (Pics #3 to #7). Worn all of them accept the white, and absolutely LOVE them!  Have lots of dresses to replace, and am making it a shopping priority as hemlines are rising - (and I want my knees covered). Shopping with clients in stores for dresses is making this MORE than apparent. It's a reality. Contingency plan is in order! Have more dresses on my radar from Boden and Hobbs.
