I'm a big fan of slightly oversized fits right now and that sweater looks so cozy and comfy, plus the light color is perfect for a nod to spring when it's still cold outside.</p> <p>The oxfords are a fun shoe! I like the bit of shine to them and the slightly pointed toe (almond shape toe?) which gives a feminine vibe to what can often be a very masculine shoe. Those were an excellent purchase. Wear them more often! But there is nothing particularly "feminine" of the other elements here. So my updated hypothesis is that I prefer them with low-contrast bottoms to create a long line with (as Star puts it) a subtle statement like a punctuation mark at the end. It was various blue jeans outfits that they didn't feel right to me with. Both are comfortable and fit well (the sweater is somewhat oversized, but I prefer that for an Icelandic-inspired look).&nbsp;</p> <p>I do find the shoes a bit trickier to style than I'd anticipated. I've put them on and taken them off a couple of times. I really like them in this all-neutral outfit though! That's helping me home in on other ways to wear them.</p> <p>Thanks for looking! </p>
