I like the idea of this kind of fit in pants/jeans -- the higher waist and fitted hip with a wider leg, but I was a lot younger and skinnier when it was trending last time. But it's almost like I have a slight poison eye for it because I just don't see it working *on me* now. It emphasizes all the things about my body (thicker lower half, short torso) that really do not need to be emphasized. I will sadly pass on this style. I just don't do gamine well, unfortunately. I wish. Her Rag &amp; Bone jeans are gorgeous and so cool looking. But a bit beyond what I want to spend. Today I saw these cropped wide-legged dark indigo jeans at Loft and tried them on. I <i>loved</i> the look! But the store didn't have my size, so I have two sizes on order to try at home. I'm excited and hopeful that they will work. And despite the no-jeans dress code at work, I think I may be able to get away with these. I think they look like denim <i>trousers</i>, don't you? Certainly they are more polished than the non-jeans I wore shopping (olive fatigue pants and outfit, below).</p> <p>I'll show the cropped jeans when I get them, but I was excited about the find and wanted to share them with you! And they look a lot better in real life, imo. </p> </p>
