I think your interpretation is very creative and really brings the feeling of the original. The boots look grey to me and I think the light colour makes them stand out a bit. I have similar pieces in my closet and although I don't have a mustard color skirt, I DO have a mustard cardigan, so I adapted this for my very casual life and was pretty happy with the result. I wouldn't have thought to put these pieces together, and it gave me a chance to wear my moto which I don't wear often. I gave my Gap skinnies a rest today and threw on my Calvin black straight legs, which look a little short in the photos, so this would probably look a little better with my skinnies. I'm not sure the booties look right with this, especially with the leather moto jacket, what do you think?</p> <p>Any suggestions for improvement are appreciated! Thanks for looking..... </p>
