It has a 70s integrity and while the cut of the dress obscures your waist, there is not doubt that you are smaller than the dress! Sometimes pictures fail to tell the whole story. It is actually a catalog photo....I really wanted to wear a faux fur vest and a dress....</p> <p>I did this in two variations...</p> <p>I have to say option one has a skirt with volume and is what I wore yesterday and I felt so awesome and sassy with the swish of that dress. I felt like I looked okay since I noticed admiring looks from women when I was out and about... The pictures of course tell the truth and I feel it wasn't flattering to my body and didn't celebrate my weight loss. The faux vest was my reward to myself for reaching the halfway point....</p> <p>So, the second option I went for a straight cut and tights with low booties (my maiden voyage wearing booties and a dress) and I really like this look and will definitely wear it again soon. </p> <p>Really wish I had the time to do my hair differently with loose curls and volume but alas as a home schooling mom, no time available... </p>
