It was only an inch -- and they are not true midis -- yet the mid-knee level felt so much better to me for some reason. I had one lesson to teach at home, so I switched into the skirt in Photo 3.&nbsp; Appropriate but, really, YAWN!&nbsp; After I finished teaching, I made the kids wait for dinner while I tried on #4 and #5 (which swaps out the sweater for my Olivia Moon jacket).&nbsp; Better, even if they're all a little safe.</p> <p>I'm a little underwhelmed by my assortment of pencil skirts this fall --- except for the midis, which are fresh and still ladylike.&nbsp; I'm thinking about adding a black tube skirt, and am waiting for a cool day to debut a printed pencil that Shannon sent to me.&nbsp; Printed bottoms are a fresh change!</p> <p> </p>
