The weird thing is, the Neiman Marcus site and Amazon site both list the colors as "Petal"--so I think the one I posted is washed out and not accurate. In that case, it's almost a brown bag. I'm not sure that's the color I would want. It is a really cool bag, though! I'm liking it more and more. That petal color is delicious. Would probably go nicely with the taupe boots I just ordered! I don't need another bag, but it sure is tempting. I get what MaryK says about the difficulty of getting into a bag with a flap. She's right. I have a mini crossbody bag that has a flap and fastener and it can be a pain. I do have a medium-sized cross body style bag that has a flap, but it has a magnetic closure, so I'm not really fussing too much to get into it, as MaryK mentions. I think something with a buckle/clasp might be a bit of a pain. I'm kind of partial to the style of the Whitney mini cross body bag - but the thing is, it's probably a tiny bit on the small side to be an everyday bag, depending on your wallet/phone/keys and whatever else you like to carry. That said though, I think it's really beautiful. I like the mini cross body styles for traveling and for quick errands. I *love* my medium-sized cross body bag for everyday use - so much easier when running errands. It used to drive me nuts how my shoulder bag would fall off my shoulders when reaching to get something (shopping mostly). I like the mini quite a bit, but you're right, it's not going to be a 'go to' every day kind of bag. The little cross-body bag is also made in white (would need to track it down), but it seems too small for an everyday bag. The Misia is nice and also comes in white, and again, I'd have to find it somewhere else again, and hope the price wasn't any higher. Will think about the satchel pointer. Thanks. (I had a second bag linked here too, but after checking out other pics, I decided it wasn't that nice.) I think I'm here avoiding my food shopping, frankly. But I do want a good go-to bag!
