I'm only a size 6 but I actually sized up to a 6-1/2 for these, partly because they were out of the 6's, and partly because I'm finding with "fashion" sneaks, when I wear them to walk all day long for miles at a time, after a few hours, my feet swell so much, my toes start rubbing against the end.

I was dubious that they'd be too long, but I've now worn them all week long and they are perfect in the larger size. Esp since I can adjust the width by tying the laces tighter around the ankle, looser near the toes.

Reason I wore them all week: my cute ballet flats gave me a nasty blister on my toe!! Argh.

But because they're black, I found myself stuck in this rut, wearing jeans with a top or cardi that had some black in it. So I was on a black and white rut all week. Or maybe my creativity just petered out and wanted a break this week!! I didn't take any photos because I felt like it was the same outfit over and over, with just minor variation.

I'm jealous, Shiny. I want Converse bad; I think they look super fab with the right outfit (and I'd get mine in red, because I'm a "red girl" also and love red shoes the most.) Alas, I tried them and make my size 9 feet look enormous. I just couldn't do it. Enjoy yours!!

I have a pair of low top Converse in baby blue. I wear alot of that color, and have a baby blue spring sporty jacket that I wear quite often. The sneakers and the jacket are almost the same exact color. I like to wear them with loose flowy casual pants, and cargos.

Is this what you mean Shiny? If so they look JUST like Converse! Wow.

I personally have 4 pairs of Converse. They are my walking shoes. I do a lot of travelling, shopping, gallivanting and walk my dogs in them so I wear them out fast. I prefer Chucks as opposed to Jack Purcell’s because they are more retro looking. This is the style we wore in the 70’s so I’m a little nostalgic too. I pad them up with cushiony insoles and they are heavenly. My feet are SO happy.

I have black & white, red & white, yellow & white and a crazy black check pinstripe & cream pair (that I wear with plain tops only). I am contemplating apple green but they have not come out with the right shade of green yet. I keep the laces white and the rubber soles very clean. They almost look classic. My wardrobe would not function without them. And I’ll be able to wear them till I’m 60 plus. Women in Europe do this all the time. It’s so fab!

I am “a very red girl”. I have a red car, which sort of explains a lot. You need to love red to have red Converse, because they make a huge statement. If you’re happy with that – go for it. I wear all the colours I have equally, but leave the crazy check & stripe pair for Winter. Hope that helps, shiny.

Actually, I prefer AirWalks from Payless - they look just like Converse kicks but are more comfortable. I have been living in my black Airwalks all week. I would like to get a second pair in a more interesting color that goes pop.

Choices are: pink, baby blue, red, navy, and gray. I'm leaning towards the red. If I decide to expand my horizons and give Converses a shot instead, my color choices are widened even more.

What are your favorite colors? What do you get the most use out of?
