It's cheeky and unexpected and breaks the rules. I don't have any loafers right now, but if I invested, I'd also go with metallic, or some other fun color or print. Loafers would be very handy for commuting by foot, then swapping out into pumps for the office. But they also look cute as is.... worn all day long. </p> <p>Loafers and oxfords, to me, fall into similar category. I finally tried oxfords and though it seems counter-intuitive to wear them with skirts/dresses (even super formal dresses), I find the look adorable ... also because it's unexpected.
