Thanks! Ok, I'll leave the second dress alone. I'm glad that it looks okay.

Michelle, yes, simple patterned dresses are totally a godsend. I've been wearing the knit dress I got on Toronto a lot too (I wore it when we were having dinner at your place with Celia and Corey.). Totally disguises the fact that I'm really being lazy.

Those are both great dresses! I especially like the print on #2. It may just be that you need to get used to the midi height. I don't think it needs hemming. Great looks!!

Both dresses are stunning on you. My opinion, FWIW, is that really ant hemline us fine if the overall look is flattering and the proportions work....so I wouldn't touch the hem. The dress is perfect. It's nice to have some variation in our wardrobes.

Thanks! I think that is a good point that I can always hem it later if I need to. For now I'm glad the length doesn't look so off to make the dress unwearable. Perhaps part of it is an eye adjustment to longer lengths.

You look great Kari, and I wish I could find some good dresses, so wear them for me! I love the way you've styled the first one with the matching tights/footwear. The midi is a nice change of pace and the length looks great with boots. Who says we have to have just one hem length in our wardrobe? Wear it this way for a while; you can always shorten it next year if you change your mind.

I too would be tempted to hem #2 a little (maybe to just hit the lowest strip of beige/tan in the centre-front), but I'm not 100% confident that the camera isn't twisting the truth a little, if not lying... So do please take this opinion with a pinch of (personal-preference) salt!
