Here's a synopsis in point form:</p> <ul> <li>Originally bought the pants in size 14 but they are too big</li> <li>Went the next day and bought the pants in a 12 petite but when wearing them around the house last night and looking at my backside in the mirror, have come to the conclusion that they are too small</li> <li>When returning the too small pair tonight, the SA (after listening to my size dilemma) suggested I try the 14 petite as it is one inch smaller in the waist, hip and thigh than the regular 14. None in the store unfortunately so she was going to order off the website for me but I do not carry a credit card with me and I could not pay with cash as this was a website order.</li> <li>Drove home and quickly ordered the 14 petite as according to the SA, there were only 3 left available in the warehouse.</li> <li>Hopefully this size will be the winner. If so, I will consider the larger size that didn't work for me a purchasing mistake and sell them through consignment.</li> <li>If the 14 petite doesn't fit correctly, I will take the larger size I already own to Wonder Woman and see what she can do.</li> <li>Lesson to self - be sure of the size before you alter anything.</li> <li>If you've read this far, you deserve a YLF Patience Medal :)</li> </ul> Come Hell or high water (pardon the expression), I will make these Black Watch trousers work perfect for me 'cause I love them! </p>
