LBD, I didn’t know they even made men’s clothes!

Bj111, he tried that, says the seams are the same outside as in.

try wearing them inside out. that's what i do for irritating inside seams in my gear wear.

The BF used to wear Spanx Men's undershirts, before he lost weight. I almost always do our laundry, and I seem to recall they were seamless and the material was soft. The only downside he ever mentioned was that they could be very hot, during high summer in the deep south.

Another possibility might be a top from one of the dancewear makers - maybe Capezio or Danskin? Dancewear tends to fit closely but has to be comfortable. They have things for both sexes but the sizes tend to be smaller.

How interesting, I’ve never heard of this but it makes complete sense to me as a person who loves heavy tucked blankets at night. Wishing this person good luck in the search- a good find could be a life changer.

Definitely agree on the compression tights.

Has your friend looked at any of the smart wool or similar liners from REI? May not be billed as compression, but they fit closely and have weight, so might do the trick?

Jenn, that’s really embarrassing, that I asked something that is so easy to find answers for. I guess I assumed he’d already done basics like googling it.

I searched for “seamless compression shirt” and found quite a few options, including some from UnderArmour (though much of their line has some seaming). Here’s one from another brand:

Classically Cas, good point about compression tights. If he runs into the same problem with them, maybe he could do compression socks.

I’ve heard of children wearing tights for this purpose. An adult might be able to do this under long pants. I’ve also heard of the thunder shirts working for anxious dogs, so it would seem there would be something out there specifically for human adults. Good luck!

Joy, that's what I thought too, but then there are little wrinkles that might be as bothersome as the seams, I'm told.

This was posted in a different forum, where people were not really able to help out. I asked the original poster, and he said he'd be fine with me asking elsewhere.

Weighted blanket worked so well the therapist suggested a compression
shirt to quell some of the anxiety due to too many sensory signals. The
compression seems to work very well, but the seams on the inside of this
shirt make it unusable for me. Very scratchy and uncomfortable for
someone with tactile sensory problems. Has anyone else tried something
similar or know a brand of compression shirt that is soft and
sensory-friendly on the inside? Mine is “under armor” and it’s
unbearable.
