It is wonderful to be back home! My son is doing well after surgery for acute appendicitis while I was out of town caring for my mother following her surgery. My husband gets the Husband of the Year award for holding down the fort and taking such excellent care of our son while I was gone. As for the airport compliment, it was really sweet, and I will make a greater effort now to compliment others in real life. I find sports clothes that are well made and flattering ideal. I took my kiddos out to Wendy's on one occassion when they were 3, 6 and 8 yrs and I was recalling a funny childhood memory to them. Later, a nice woman came by and said that she enjoyed how well behaved my kids were and how lovely of a time it looked like we were having. A woman came up to me in the airport and remarked on my travel outfit. She said that I looked perfectly dressed for travel. She then added that what I was wearing was appropriate for travel, attending a meeting, sightseeing, or going out for dinner. To be honest, I hadn't put a whole lot of thought into what I was wearing but her compliment made my day and gave me a much needed boost. For the record, I was wearing a white skirt with a black and white checked jacket, cap-toe ballet flats, and my yellow bag. </p> <p>Thanks YLF! You all are my inspiration! </p>
