I had a really nice compliment from one of the mom's at dance not too long ago. I think "dressed to kill" is a pretty typical compliment around my area (and anyone midwest correct me if I'm naive) to say you are "dressed to the hilt" "dressed to the nines", etc. </p> <p>Given he's 52 (my age next week(!)), it sounds like something coming out of my mouth too. </p> <p>But being he is male, is there room to interpret it 'as you are on the hunt' and that's why you are dressed so stylishly. . .?? But, he said the last couple of months he has noticed that I am now going out "dressed to kill"!</p> <p>This kind of shocked me because no one has really commented on any of my recent style changes, so to come from him, and for it to be a distinct description of the changes (rather than just "you are looking good these days" or similar)... well I was speechless.</p> <p>Have you guys had similar experiences? Do you think people you know but aren't super close to probably are more objective because they don't see you all the time?</p> <p>This just got me thinking is all LOL </p>
