They look a bit "granny" on the website, but not on the foot. Several of us on YLF have bought them and are wearing happily. Last fall I got a pair of Clarks booties with a 1 1/2 to 2" heel and they are awesomely comfortable and walkable, fit my wide feet, and I instantly fell in love with the look with pencil skirts (whereas usually my eye is slow to adjust to a new silhouette).
