Thanks brilliant ladies! I ended up deciding to name the pics with the notes. It is something I'm working on for someone else who had written descriptions on the back.

Ooh....Makrame, you just solved a work problem for me --- thanks!

Elle: I think some of our members load their pics into Picasa to make the collages.

I have done it by opening up the .jpg's I want and then use A snipping tool to creat a new .jpg with all the photos on it.

I mostly use Photoshop for photo editing, including copy-pasting jpegs.

On my mac, if I scan from the Printer menu (System preferences/Printers and scanners), within the scan settings box I have an option of scanning multiple pages into a single file (it just keeps adding pages to the file until I am done). Not sure if this is the function of my printer/scanner (HP) or something that is generally available on a mac.

I do it in MS Publisher, which may not help on a Mac, but maybe you can do something similar. I just make a Publisher file with the two photos, and then save the resulting file as a new .jpg.

Hope this helps!

Hi ladies,

I have noticed some of you post pictures with multiple images in each file. How do you do that? I have a mac & am scanning thousands of photos as jpegs, with notes on the back & I want the notes to be in the same scanned file. My scanner scans double sided which is great, but each side is saved as a separate image. I need to merge them. Thanks!
