Love your boots! You will have fun styling them. I am in my late 50's and wear my combat boots most often with cuffed or rolled jeans (especially boyfriend style) and other cropped pants. I also wear them in the colder months with fleece leggings or tights and a midi sweater dress.

How would you describe your style? I saw a woman once, late sixties, at the farmer's market. This may have only worked so well because she had snow white cropped hair - but she wore a long, A-line tunic dress in red and black plaid and then combat boots. Punk, but not wild, and very neat and tidy.

I agree with MsMaven. And trying is always a good thing!

I'm out and about, but look at Bonnie G's forum outfits. They should offer good inspiration for these combat boots. You need to roll the hems of jeans or wear cropped jeans to showcase the style of the boots.

I don't think you are ever past an age to wear combat boots if they fit in with your style and you feel good in them. I'm not the one to tell you how to wear them, but someone else here will be able to.

I just purchased a fabulous pair of combat boots from etsy (like these, but even better: http://tinyurl.com/zf399nw), but now I'm kind of panicking because I'm not sure what to wear them with. Of course not for the office, but how can I incorporate them into my wardrobe without looking like I'm trying too hard?

BTW, I am not a teen, millennial, or
even a Gen-Xer - I'm in my 50s! So I don't want to look like I'm acting 'too young for my own good,' you know? :-\

Thanks!
