What a neat job. </p> <p>Re Rimmel Salon Pro I think it sounds like yours is a gel-a-like and the couple that I have are just a normal finish, though still the pro range (not sure if you need a top coat ). I'm always pretty hard on my nails and I'm lucky if I can get 4 or 5 days! Mind you I tend to apply the coats pretty quickly so maybe if I took more time? I will say that I have a navy/ black colourblock pea coat. I really love it (and love the colour blocking on it -- subtle) -- <b>BUT</b> I find it frustrating sometimes that others refer to it consistently as black only -- for some reason the navy is not that evident.&nbsp;</p> <p>Oh, and I forgive you for the taupe faux pas... &nbsp;;) &nbsp; &nbsp;Whatever gives you the most wear is best!
