That is exactly the color blue of my first real running shirt and over shirt set, which I got as a present for myself on my 50th birthday after one year of running. I loved that over shirt, but&nbsp;unfortunately after 16 years of regular wear, the zipper always stuck and the seam edges were fraying so I had to say goodbye. (The thinner shirt became a little unstylishly short long ago.)</p> <p>I miss it. Most of my running tops now are purples, dark pinks and reds. Here, they require us to show proof of vaccination every time we go into a “nonessential” establishment, such as a gym or restaurant, and to wear masks. There is a European app that registers vaccines and boosters—that’s what we have to show, along with an ID, to get in. Only pharmacists &amp; doctors’ offices can enter info into the app. The business models to which I referred are monthly or annual memberships—people sign up in the first few days of the year, but most resolutions don’t even make it to day 19.</p> <p>ETA on omicron—the feeling I’m getting from US and German sources is that omicron is less deadly, so lockdowns may not be called for. I’ve heard that Jan 1 is the busiest day of the year for gyms, and many make a substantial portion of their profit for the year during the first few days of the year. But I think yours has more of a rehab/physical therapy emphasis, so that may explain the difference.</p> <p>Now I’m inspired to head out now, wearing my nearly China blue leggings from Uniqlo (clearly not a current photo—green leaves! sigh).
