Team Teal won out - the SA at Nordstrom helpfully pointed out that it even went with the olive green pants I was wearing, and like the dark purple bag I was carrying it would go with a ton of stuff. I'm not completely sure how teal would look with some of my green sweaters, whereas the other color I think would be ok. Either would go with my black wool coat or black/silver metallic moto jacket. </p> <p>I have visited (and pawed) both colors in person, but am having a heck of a time making up my mind! Bag color should not really match anything you wear but rather look good with it. I found deep teal to be a very versatile color, it goes with most neutrals (black, white, tan, grey) but also with a lot of other colors. I wear it with citron and love the combination. Iit is great with deep purple and burgundy, some reds and greens as well as yellow. It comes in black, brown, teal and a fuschia-y purple-y color. I already have both a small and medium size black leather bag, both of which have been used frequently for years (still in good shape though). Brown (it's a saddle color) is out, I own nothing brown and while not opposed to it, don't look great in it so usually avoid.</p> <p>What I'm wondering is, would either the teal or the other color be too bright for fall? Part of me feels like a bright color would be nice, most of my coats are dark. I'm not sure about the teal, I own nothing else in that color and am not quite sure how much it would go with. I do like the other color, and think it would go with most things, but then a different lobe of my brain tells me black is safer.</p> <p>Advice? What would you guys do? Thanks! </p>
