I need medium tone colors and neutrals. Guess it is the "softer" (!) hair color. If I did a deep lipstick I could pull it off but that is not wher I'm headed.<br /> Has been obvious re: black but also deepest brown and dark jewel tones. Just tried a sweater in "wine", which<br /> was a beautiful color, and was considering that I need a different size, but then compared with similar color family in tones just a shade or 2 lighter and aha! the color is too severe. This is for near- face items, not a "never" color or mixed in a tweed or something. But for solid tops, jackets.<br /> Thought I had learned this finally, but I underestimate the differences and ranges in berry colors &amp; jewel tones which I like in general. Seems picky, I guess but at least it helps focus! </p>
