I got great lined boots from Aigle, but last winter they didn't appear to be sold in the US. Those Uggs look really cute!

I'm a huge fan of my Franco Sarto Panko style. They actually fit my narrow calf so I can wear with skinnies or leggings tucked or with skirts and dresses too. They aren't waterproof, per se but them keep me warm and dry in our extremely wet weather.the soles are nice looking but rubber.

http://www1.macys.com/shop/pro.....?ID=500723

They have a little different version at Macy's this year, but I have seen the Panko style at Famous Footwear and even at TJMaxx. I loved mine so much I bought the black pair this year.

At a store called Selby Shoes Etc. in So. Portland, ME, they have these wonderful Rieker Boots(German) that are wool-lined, waterproof...and fabulous looking! Tall, short, fur-cuffed, casual, dressy-lots of different styles- and moderately priced. As another Mainer, I understand the importance of warm boots. Blondos are great, too!

I agree with so much that has been mentioned already : La Canadienne, Wht. Mountain,
and I will throw in these too,

I like some of the White Mountain boots and they last forever, it seems...I just got this one.....it looks better IRL! Maybe not the type you're looking for, but its a beautiful cognac suede.....http://www.herbergers.com/shop.....26562.html

I absolutely love my Keen Bern boots which have a shearling lining inside and keep my feet toasty. I have the red Orla ones and they are workhorses

I got a pair of tall Clark's last year. They do happen to be waterproof and they have a good tread. I can wear them with skinnies or skirts. http://www.clarkscanada.com/pr.....8;Level2=4

I got them roomy enough that I could wear thin wool socks (over tights, if necessary) or even slightly thicker socks on occasion.

They kept me surprisingly warm. They are not lined with fleece but with something else; I wore them for 10 to 12 hour days on a January trip to New York and didn't get cold. The only time I found them slightly inadequate was when I was outside for several hours in Ottawa on a -40C day. In fact, I think my feet actually got cold during a skate that day, and then failed to warm up afterwards.

I swear by La Canadienne. They're made in Montreal and the quality is amazing. They can be pricey, but they last very well and they're comfy too.

Cold weather has arrived to Maine and all my cute boots are leaving my toes chilly. I have serious weather boots like Sportos, Classic Uggs, and rustic Timberlands, but I'd like something a little nicer looking, yet still casual and warm. Water-proof isn't a requirement because I'll wear major snow boots if I'm actually tromping in the snow. I'm thinking of this Ugg boot because my classic Uggs are so warm.I'm thinking of Charcoal, cognac or chestnut. A rubber sole with a little traction is essential though. Do you have any proven, cold weather winners that didn't leave you slipping and with cold toes?
