They actually fit my narrow calf so I can wear with skinnies or leggings tucked or with skirts and dresses too. They are not lined with fleece but with something else; I wore them for 10 to 12 hour days on a January trip to New York and didn't get cold. The only time I found them slightly inadequate was when I was outside for several hours in Ottawa on a -40C day. I have serious weather boots like Sportos, Classic Uggs, and rustic Timberlands, but I'd like something a little nicer looking, yet still casual and warm. Water-proof isn't a requirement because I'll wear major snow boots if I'm actually tromping in the snow. I'm thinking of this Ugg boot because my classic Uggs are so warm.I'm thinking of Charcoal, cognac or chestnut. A rubber sole with a little traction is essential though.
