Now is a great time to shop for a pashmina shawl because they are available in a lot of places in really fun, bright colors (if that's your thing). I just bought one in coral and I love it. I've got my eye on yellow and green next.

I am also always cold.

I would take Maya's first suggestion to heart. Not to sound like a preachy environmentalist, but air conditioning is one of the greatest emitters of carbon dioxide. Raising the temperature a bit will save your skin and the environment!

I, like Maya, always have a pashmina scarf. You can wear it as a scarf or use it as a light shawl. You wouldn't believe how much warmer you will feel with a light scarf around your neck or shoulders.

Layers are the most important. I always have a cardigan with me in the summers, and in the winters a cami or long sleeve undershirt can really warm you up.

I know all about cold workplaces. It used to be so cold at my old job that I used to wear fingerless gloves at my desk because it was too cold for me to type! I know it sounds a bit ridiculous but it did help. Depending how formal your office is that might work (if you work in an office)--or at least get enough attention for people to reconsider adjusting the temperature.

I also kept a cardigan or light blazer with me at all times. If I wanted to wear a skirt, I would just pop some nylons or tights underneath. Also this is a great excuse to get a bunch of scarves. I'd keep a pashina around my neck during winter and a lighter spring scarf when it got warmer (outside at least). This may also depend on your workplace dress code though. If you're not too busty, try wearing a higher neckline too. And always dress in layers so that when you go outside and it's hot (assuming you don't work outside), you can peel back.

What do you typically wear that you're not warm enough? Do you work indoors?
