There is no distressing, and they are not slouchy. It is really hard to find well-fitting, comfortable boots at the right price, so it seems like a no-brainer to keep these. I do see what others are saying that these look more casual/western than urban-polished (how I think of your style), but as long as you are happy with that, I don't see anything wrong with it.
