I love love the skirt and the sweater. I also love wearing the color green. I was very tired as I had not slept well for a couple of days and I can see if in my face. March 13 is the anniversary of my best friends death, and I have been thinking about her. I was also working on a presentation that I gave two days ago and staying up late many nights in a row to practice the delivery and add and take away slides, etc. When I feel awful and sleep deprived like that, I try extra hard to look nice because I don’t want people to think I will not pay attention to them. Not really the lively spring green that represents St. Patrick's day, but I like these colors.</p> <p>I picked my mint green J Crew stadium cloth coat because of the St. Patrick's day challenge. I have a long coat that would have worked with the skirt. I am not sure these proportions work as described in Angie's post today. I think it may be a good example of how a higher contrast between skirt and coat does not look sleek. </p>
