Coats are actually one category I don’t like to have too much of. I tend to grab the same one day after day since the one in use has coordinating gloves stuffed in it and so on. But the weather here varies so I do need different weights. I’m glad you kept a nice variety since I’m sure the same is true where you are. </p> <p>Gaylene is right about the holding zone. I really just use it as a mental cructh to move an item towards going out, and very rarely rescue anything. That said, since we have a clothing donation box in the basement of our building, I just make a bag and bring it down when it’s full. It fits well, and I like the silver buttons, but I think the hem hits the widest part of my body and therefore may not the most flattering length on me, especially since it is high contrast because I really only wear dark bottoms. It was a workhorse many years ago and it still fits, but it feels a little less than fresh to me — I guess I tired of it. When I got that black Trina Turk, i wore the burgundy a lot less. I’m glad to free up some hangers and clean out the holding zone a bit. I’m actually a little surprised to see that somehow I don’t have an overwhelming number of coats. You look amazing in white/cream, but there is something I'm not loving about #2.
