The pockets on the Lands End are hidden by zippers into a seam whereas on the Lane Bryant they are patch pockets right on the front of where thighs would be. So the LE one is sleeker in that sense. The quilting lines on the Chevron really accentuate the waist definition. The LB coat also has a chevron texture, but it is belted. The lack of a belt on the Lands End one is actually not a bad thing because it has definition at the waist.</p> <p>I also like the sapphire color. It's tough to tell how bulky the coat is because there are no photos with a model, whereas the LB coat is worn by an actual human. </p> <p>Have you thought about which color you might like? I love that it comes in some interesting shades, and I would strongly lobby for you wearing the dark sapphire--I think it would look beautiful with your coloring.
