It wasn't the RIT brand--some other brand I found at Walmart. I had to do it two or three times to get the color out and then I bleached the shorts. One thing you might recommend to your daughter is the Tide color catcher. She could wash the cream blouse with whites and use a detergent with bleach or bleach substitute (Tide has both). It may need to be done several times. She could soak it in a diluted bleach bath. Do not dry or iron the blouse or use hot water. ( no heat). This may have to be chalked up as learning the hard way. Do not take the blame for this. She needs to learn to sort laundry. I have also heard that hydrogen peroxide will help. Of course, make sure it is the colour you want it to be before drying.</p> <p>And while it isn't funny, I had to laugh about it being your fault because it was your washer!
