I thought they might be suitably breezy in summer, but the truth is, in my climate it's either sandals with open toes, or sneakers (with no-show socks underneath). Mules end up being a very limited-wearing-season items for me. And mine stretched just enough with wear that I indeed did almost walk out of them when I wore them. Lesson learned.&nbsp;</p> <p>Jeans editing -- I hear you. I crave something trendy, but honestly most of the trendy denim just looks really bad on me.
