I would pass it on then - I can see it being best with a plain layer too in black, grey or maybe a blush colour..... you normally wear cleaner lines and more crisp looks than this.

Sal - that's exactly how I wore the cardigan but the color blocking and marled sections made it too maximal (for me) with anything but a plain tee and most of my tees have some sort of graphic. And for all my love of black, I don't own a black t-shirt. The sleeves are fairly narrow so it's hard to layer over anything with sleeves.

Well done!!

Your thinking is sound and organised.

I also like the cardigan but it does not really look your style. I would wear it with jeans and boots casually in the weekend to sport or doing errands. Or at home in the evening as an extra layer....

I still have too many tanks/tees but I still really love all the ones I kept. They don't take up much room so it's tempting to keep them all but then they end up just taking up space and causing clutter.

Wow. You are organized, Sara. I’m impressed. Especially giddy over the tee edit. People who wear tees generally have too many - and the category can always do with an extra edit. You did just that. Well done.

I did my fall seasonal closet switch and went through my tops. I have a lot of tops that are fine and I still like so this edit was harder. I also got rid of some worn out lounge wear and exercise gear (not shown). I'm getting there with this edit. I still need to go through jeans and pants but I did a pretty thorough edit last winter and I don't think there's much work needed in those departments. I also need to go through socks and underwear but no one needs to see that :)

Photo 1 - Starting from left top
#1 - Peach silky tee - it's fine but I didn't wear it all summer.
#2 - Black and white patterned top - I have two other black/white patterned tops that I reached for instead
#3 - White top - I have another white top that is newer and I wear more often
#4 - Blue and white striped tee - I haven't worn it all summer and I've had it forever. Time to go.
#5 - White tee with gold decals - Worn out
#6 - Tank - I still like this but only wore it once all summer and the shorts I usually wore it with wore out and had to be tossed.
#7 - White tee - worn out
#8 - Peach tee - Got buried and I didn't even know I had it all summer. Since I didn't miss it and I don't need more tees, it can go.
#9 - Lavender tee - I didn't wear it all summer and again, the shorts I usually wore it with wore out and were tossed.

Photo 2 - Starting from left top
#1 - Dark grey tee - Hardly wore last winter, not excited to wear this winter
#2 - Light grey tee - same as the dark grey
#3 - Black tank - I have two others that I'm keeping and like better
#4 - Floral tank - the flowers are a thick plastic decal, not a pattern on the shirt and the plastic is too hot and heavy for a summer tank
#5 - Black sweater - worn out and too short
#6 - Maroon sweater - this was a hand me down. I actually really like the color and style but it's made out of some strange polyester fabric that I hate the feel of. I'm not usually picky about polyester either.
#7 - Black and white striped sweater - I just took it out of the box and I already have no desire to wear it.

Photo 3 - Black and white color blocked sweater - I've never worn it as much as I thought it would. Partly because it's not true white but a warm winter white that I have problems figuring out how to wear.
