I would love to hear your thoughts on your jewelry and accessories when you get there. I think that adding the right jewelry can really help make an outfit that was sort of classic "safe" into something more interesting. The other night we had a casual music event to go to (outdoors). It was a nice evening and jeans were the choice. I wanted to be very comfortable so I chose my softest lightweight fitted jeans, my softest pale blue heathered V-neck tee and a simple navy belt. I thought it was kind of boring until I added a bold long pendant, a stack of mixed metal bracelets and my pewter sandals. I too am overstuffed on the tailored, classic items...they are easy to shop for and are in abundance, so it seems that I go straight for them so I don't have to work so hard to find something in a more updated style. And I also have a lot of "safe" shoes...luckily, the weather getting cold put a damper on my shoe buying, so I'm not as overloaded as I could have been!
