The Boden embroidery boots are my definition of "extra" and probably my most complimented pair of shoes ever. (although, the white dolce vitas also get a lot of comments).&nbsp;</p> <p><b>Lynn</b> I generally agree with you about keeping a longline. I have found though that bookending my hair with the brown boots, or going for some contrast (white) or attention (embroidered) makes me feel more polished. Horses for courses as Angie would say. ;-)</p> <p><b>Joy </b>th<b></b>anks for the reminder to think about pairing<b></b>, and<b> Sal </b>has<b></b>&nbsp;a good point about keeping a pair for not great weather. I think since the ones I"m passing on are mostly light or not-neutral, I won't be missing on an outfit look. And since most of these have heels, I think it's probably better to rely on my more gear related boots. Then I realized that for me a snakeskin pattern with white feels not quite right unless it’s a sneaker or summer shoe. But my brown and black snakeskin booties are favorites. The taupe? Blondo s in #3 are my most worn booties of all time. Snake are the second tied with Lucky pewter booties with working side zippers on both sides. Don’t forget to keep something light to wear on cold spring days. The white would do nicely. Think of when you wear the booties you would donate. Ask yourself what you would wear instead. I wish I had a pair of olive booties. Today I wore olive Ponte pants and my pewter booties.
