My untrained eye sees the clogs clashing with full skirts and ruffles unless the disparity looks deliberately done. Does that make sense? I'm picturing white pants (so that the clogs extend your leg line) and black or chocolate boyfriend blazer over a polkadot shell or something of that sort.. maybe with a simple metal cuff. However, this may not be your style or be creative enough. And these are German proverbs, so think along the lines of cruel Grimm brothers fairy tales. Many of these are in dialect.
