I have high contrast coloring and tend to wear graphic clothing. I appreciate that the clear frames add sparkle without adding more contrast to my look. My husband has some rimless frames and they look fantastic on him, whereas the style does not suit me - it really is a process of trial and error with frames. For one thing, I need more contrast than they provide. For another, I feel like you can really tell that my Rx is quite different (both thickness and curvature of the lenses) between my two eyes when there's no opaque frame to hide that. (I have the same problem with half rimless styles.) I've seen several examples and I kind of like them, but I'm not sure if they read as much more hip and funky than I actually am! Here's an example of the kind I have in mind -- just normal size, slightly nerdy style, rather than the gigantic oversized frames I sometimes see super fasionable types wearing.
