The plum color looks gorgeous. The straighter cut, with just a hint of waist definition is perfect for my slightly IT shape. I like the narrow v lapel, which is elongating for me. The jacket was near perfect in the size I ordered, but there was no room for layers. I'm confident that the size up will be perfect. They had other coats with more flare that would work better for you. I am always impressed with their quality.</p> <p>Now I look forward to refreshing my winter scarf and glove capsule. It was LOVELY but sadly not suitable for my shape, which is a very common problem for me (a pronounced pear). It was cut for a straighter body than mine. I had ordered the following Boden coat in navy as an essential need for my winter wardrobe and while I loved everything about it, I needed to exchange for a larger size to accommodate fall and winter layers. Unfortunately it was so popular that it was already out of stock and it was not possible to exchange. I kept looking for alternatives while stalking the Boden website hoping for a return in my size or a restock. I noticed this week that they in fact are restocking and it is now available for preorder with delivery in 7 weeks (just before Thanksgiving), which is perfect timing for me.
