I have some similar shoes but oxford style with a round, slightly upturned toe. It actually kind of bugs me visually, but I can't say why. I think the upturned-ness is probably more for walking-motion comfort than style. It's a very different heel than I'm used to. I feel like I'm rocking slightly, although I know I'm not. I would also prefer a slightly lower heel for running around, but I think they would be okay.</p> <p>The good thing is they makes my 8 1/2 foot look tiny. But the drawback is I lose a little of that elongation you get with a narrower shoe (which I like, since my lower half is proportionally shorter than my upper half.)
