I use mine every night. I run it under warm water and shake the excess off. Then I put a squirt of Philosophy Purity Made Simple liquid soap on it. Then I turn it on. Shaking the excess water off seems to help the dripping a lot. After use I put a little drop of antibacterial soap on it, smoosh it into the bristles and rinse. I also dry off gently on a clean towel. Otherwise it drips everywhere. So basically, the same as everyone else who replied.

I have used mine every night for nearly three years and like crackers, I couldn't live without it. I run the head under hot water, shake off the excess then add the cleanser to the head. After use, I wash the brush with a drop of anti bacterial soap, rinse with hot water, then rub lightly on a clean facecloth. That way it dries in a couple of hours which should inhibit the bacteria growth ( I hope)

After I use mine, I rinse, then put a tiny bit of hand soap on and smush it around to clean it, rinse again, and rub lightly on a clean dry towel. I place it on a sunny windowsill and in an hour or two it's clean and dry.

Thanks for 1st making me know o wasn't alone re the dripping. I'm going to try creamier cleansers...and less water. And I'm going to try leaving it on a wash cloth between uses
.

I having been using mine daily for years, can't live without it. But I put my cleanser (Fresh Soy) on my face first, then wet the clarisonic and shake off the excess water, no dripping, and I start on my forehead. After I'm done I just rinse it under the hottest tap water and shake it out in the sink, and store it in the drawer on a facecloth, it dries by morning.

Mines so old I have to charge it every two or three nights, I'm due for a new one (but I'd rather buy boots).

I usually do it every couple days or it dries out my skin too much and I start from my cheeks since I had the same issue. I usually dry it off a bit with a clean cloth/makeup wipe after I'm done to get it as dry as possible.

Never replaced mine after it died, but I always removed the brush after every use and rinsed it because I found there was a lot of "gook" . I just could not use it on my face until I knew it was clean.

I think it's fine for it to air dry between uses. I don't use mine every day any more (I did for about the first few months but then went down to twice or three times a week). Every few weeks I pop the head in the microwave for a minute to disinfect.

I haven't had the soap dripping down problem so I suspect maybe you're wetting it too much or using more soap than you need?

Mine needs almost NO charging -- so weird!!

I have both of those issues, and I imagine the remedy for the head is to alternate them.

(I now rarely use mine because it needed frequent charging, and took a long time to charge. My washable microfiber face cloths seem to be doing as good a job.)

I don't take the brush off to dry it out - mine sits in the bathroom cabinet and seems to dry out between uses. I don't use it everyday though...

I can't say I've ever noticed soap and water dripping - I just dampen the brush and squirt the cleanser onto it and go. Maybe a combination of a really wet brush and a liquidy soap is the culprit? I often squirt more cleanser on half way through though.......as I would with an electronic toothbrush too.

after years of thinking about it, I finally bought a clarisonic about 3 weeks ago. I've been using it once a day, and I think its working (ie making my tired/drab skin look less tired/drab, but it could be the placebo effect)....anyway, I do have a couple of questions...as I mentioned I'm using it once a day, and the brush head is never drying out. is this normal, should I be concerned? should I be storing the unit and the brush head separately. 2nd question, when I start with my forehead, as I believe is recommended, water/soap drips done my face. what I am I doing wrong? none of the demo's I've seen seem to do this?

(posted this in the general forum, but if this should be in off topic, I'm sorry, and can one of the moderator's please move it for me)
