My Clarisonic gets used almost daily, especially in summer. I think the exfoliating properties help other products to absorb. I think the Opal works differently to firm rather than cleanse the area. I could certainly use firming around the eyes and other places, if it works. I don't notice much of a difference, but you remind me that I've been meaning to ask my dermatologist if there's any value. I see her next week so can weigh in again.
