I haven't found any that aren't premium that will work so I've decided to invest. I love the wash on them. I have no idea about whether the blue will wear off. It won't be long before you'll know if it does. You can wear them around the house with an old T shirt and within a couple of hours you will know if the blue is coming off. That way you won't risk ruining your good tops. No, the dye does not rub off. Then again, I did wash and dry them twice before wearing - so I could shrink them before hemming. </p> <p>They are uber-super-duper-comfy.
