You definitely need to size down in these. I usually wear a 27 and my Elsons are a 26. They run a little large and they stretch a bit, too.

Fab jeans, though. I'd have them in triplicate if it was in my budget:)

Thanks, Una. They appeared on the Nordstrom Rack website in a 28 as well (a size down from my normal) so I've ordered the 28 and the 30 ... still no 29, but oh well. The extra pair put me over the free shipping limit anyway so it's all good.

ETA: Oh darn, nordstrom cancelled the 28. stupid inventory management...

I was wondering if any of you could comment on sizing for the Citizens of Humanity Elson straight legs that are in the YLF store? I've found a pair for a good price but am hesitant to order because they are out of my normal size (29). They are only available in a 30... on occasion I do wear a 30 but usually that is for lower-rise jeans (I am a high-waisted pear). I know a lot of the reviews in the store say true to size or size down so I'm wondering if I had a chance of getting away with ordering the 30s... I don't mind if they fit a bit loose, just so long as they do not fall down or look too saggy.
